Event: Kristen Schmelter's Graduation

I purchased the new Canon Rebel XSI last week (some would say with an irrational urgency). I needed to shoot a Graduation and Family Reunion and what better weekend to get my feet wet?! But much to my dismay the settings on the camera weren't as wingable as I had originally thought and I took pics like the amateur I am. But here are some of my favorite from the weekend (in their original state) so be kind.
